Privacy Policy

The short version

PunchDeck does not collect, transmit, or sell any of your data. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. Everything you create — projects, issues, photos, annotations, signatures, reports — stays on this device until you choose to share it.

Data stored on your device

The following information is saved locally on this iPhone or iPad only, using Apple's standard on-device storage. It never leaves the device through PunchDeck:

• Projects, issues, notes, assignees and cost estimates you enter
• Photos you take or import, and the vector annotations you draw on them
• Your company logo and signature (if you add them)
• Generated report files, kept in the app's archive so you can resend them later
• Preferences such as report wording, theme and date format

Permissions

PunchDeck asks for these permissions only when you use the related feature:

• Camera — to photograph issues during an inspection. Pictures are stored in the app, not your photo library.
• Photo library — to attach photos to issues, import a logo or signature, and (when you choose) save report pages to your library.
• Location — optional. If granted, PunchDeck can record where an issue was found and show it on the report. Location data is stored on the device with the issue and is never transmitted.

You can change any of these at any time in iOS Settings.

Sharing is your choice

Reports leave the device only when you explicitly share them — email, messages, AirDrop, printing, saving to Photos, or saving to the Files app. PunchDeck does not upload anything to a server, because it does not operate one.

Data deletion

Deleting a project deletes its issues and photos. Deleting the app removes all PunchDeck data from the device permanently. Because there is no server copy, there is nothing else to delete — and nothing to recover, so keep your own backups.

Children

PunchDeck is a professional field tool and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, of any age.

Changes to this policy

If the policy changes (for example, if a sync feature is ever added), the updated version will appear here in the app and in the app's release notes, and the effective date above will change.
